BAC855 Upgrade Kit - P-51 Bullet
This is the “OEM+” plug-and-play upgrade kit for your ebike.
The HANDLWORKS system plugs into your stock vehicle, and includes a BAC855 controller with harness, and display. By installing this controller and removing your stock programming, you can take control of your vehicle’s upgrade path - all programmability and upgrades are open to you.
Controllers come pre-flashed with a base tune that gives you a bump in performance (see Dyno Data for details). Throttle, PAS, and lights are all supported options.
Flash files are being developed to accommodate an upgrade track (different voltage, power, etc.). These will be flashable to your BAC855 system and available as you upgrade your vehicle.

What is the compatibility of this kit?
This kit will ONLY work on P-51 Bullet ebikes with a Hentach motor. Look on your motor for a Hentach logo. Bafang motors are NOT compatible due to the weaker internals and different motor connector.How does the Light Module work?
The Light Module (LM) is a custom-designed PCB add-on that contains all the step-down functions, along with switching circuitry to support peripherals such as lights and horns. We wire each (LM) to connect to the stock vehicle lighting, so a LM only supports the same lights as a stock vehicle. Hold the (+) button to turn on the LM.When does my order ship?

Ride modes follow the legal US limits, with an unlimited mode at the highest. Your kit will power on at Mode 1 always.

Mode 2: 1200W, 28mph top speed (Class 3 ebike)
Mode 3: 2500W, 35mph top speed (Private riding only)Does this void my bike’s manufacturer warranty?
For the P-51 Bullet, we have reached an agreement where installing this kit will NOT void your warranty. Your Handlworks purchase is covered by our warranty, while other parts are still covered within P-51’s warranty.Can I upgrade other parts?
Yes - contact us to discuss the upgrade paths. Generally, you just need to connect a new battery to the BAC855 system with an adapter cable, and flash the new firmware.What is your returns/warranty policy?
